Many Many Many Thanks!!!!!

I see Cookie beat me to it, please forgive my lateness…..I did not get out the bed on Sunday other than to go to the bathroom, I was waited on head to toes. (insert big old giddy grin)

 Many many thanks to all who attended my “so long" dinner.

No one presence was any important than another however there were three that had to put forth a special effort to get there than others due to the distance that they had to travel and I want to give them a special shout out….

 

Cookie, what can I say….you are my girl, thanks for planning this from afar, it mean so much to me.

Doug, what a pleasant surprise.  Thank you for a wonderful dinner Friday night as well, you are the true gentlemen

Kendra…girl, since I have moved out in the country temporary, I truly understand the effort you put forward to attend the dinner…thank you so much, it mean a lot.

The rest is in no specific order, other than the way I wrote each name down with the exception of Darien

Darien….what a sweet man, he had told Cookie that he would attend, however since he was looking at the football game, when I got dressed, I just assume that he would stay home and watch the game…being a football fan, this I could understand…so I was pleasantly surprise to see him walk in, he wanted to give me some time with my folks alone, so that the attention was on me and not on him since as he said...it was all about me. However I would have been truly honor to had walked in with him.

Glenda, long time no see, good to see you. Have you forgave me yet?

Patrice….what can I say about my girl….try to practice on that bike riding while I am gone…don’t do too much skating without me…thanks for being you.

Cassie, thanks for gracing me with your presense, it meant more than I can tell you.

Raven, my extended family, now you know if all possible I will try to plan being back for the summer family get together, thanks sweetie for coming out.

Kiesha, (did I misspell your name), you are working your tool, and looking good, thanks for coming out

Stephanie, mis skinny minny, I feel like a proud parents, you have arrived, thanks for the lovely flowers.

Ki, thanks for coming out, I am sure you had plenty to do, but you gave your time to take time to say so long and I thank you.

 

Shani…..many many thanks to you, love that new do.  Keep doing you, I love your attitude.

Kim…I do not know your screen name, however I do remember you promise to walk with me at Haines Point when I returned…and I will hold you to it…..thanks for coming out.

Plantium…..thanks for coming, one day, that pink princess head band will make it from me to you, you are so beautiful inside and out

Sharon R…..Ms Madame…thanks for coming, especially since you were on call and knew you may had to leave at a moment notice…you still took time out of your busy schedule to grace me with your presence.

Friends of Stephanie (Ayonda Witcher, Aderena Savoy and Tanye Coleman)…..thanks for stopping by.

I dont believe I forgot anyone, I pray I did not, if I did, please let me know because God knows I was truly honored to be blessed with a great group of folks who took time to do this for me.


RO RO.....I know that you wanted to make it, I got your message...I am truly sorry that you could not make it down to feel on my butt one last time, I had even gave Darien the head out that my booty was going to get rub down by a female so lol, you can have a rain check

I didn’t take any pictures, so those who did, please I beg of you, can I have a copy to put on my page so I can look back when I am in Iraq and remember the good time.

Those who know me, know how hard it was for me to sit back and let this happen, I believe it is better to give than to receive…I get great pleasure out of giving….so, have fun while I am away, when I return, rather it is in 6 months or 1 year if I get there and extend…when I return…the party is on me.

Laverne, you are one of the most precious jewels that God has!  I wanted to make it too but knew I could not because of my health.  I will keep you lifted up in Prayer, you have been a blessing to me and everytime I wear my earrings I think of your kindness.  May God continually bless you on your new journey.  I pray that your time moves quickly and you are back home before you know it.  I love you with all my heart.
